Your spiritual inheritance

In 1927 Max Ehrmann wrote in his poem, Desiderata: You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. Since all that exists is an extension of its creator, you share its essence. At your core you are a manifestation of what it is: pure love, power, beauty, joy, abundance. You have also been granted freedom of choice. You can choose to focus on that which you have received or ignore its presence through the illusion of fear. Your inheritance waits for you to claim it whenever you are ready. It does not diminish in what it has to offer during the time that it may be unused. If the trees and the stars are exalted, think how much more so you are. There is not one moment in your lifetime that you are unworthy or undeserving. Remember that the universe is unfolding as it should be. There are no accidents. Each day is right and perfect, just as you are. Look for the good in everyone you meet and all that you do.
