Collective consciousness

Each of us possesses an individual consciousness which in turn creates our reality. Where we place our focus is what we attract in our lives. At the same time, there is a consciousness shared with those around us. They may be as close as our immediate household or as far reaching as everyone on this planet. The collective consciousness may involve beliefs around the economy. There may be a belief that we are in a recession or are experiencing financial prosperity. There are people experiencing either one depending on what they believe. The same is true for political views, social issues, environmental concerns, and spiritual beliefs. How do we know what they are? All we need do is read a newspaper or watch the news on television. They feed our collective consciousness. We have a choice as to our response to all of this. We can choose the "Ain't it awful" or the "Things are looking great" attitude. When a significant number of people choose one over the other, it creates a tipping point. In which direction would you like to see this happen, and what are you thinking and doing today that will accomplish that?
