Merely a coincidence?

About 40 years ago I purchased a water color from a friend. It was a painting of Juliet's balcony in Verona of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet." I am not sure what motivated me to buy it since it was devoid of the starstruck couple pouring out their love for each other. Nonetheless I enjoyed the balcony for a number of years until I decided to part with it as my tastes changed. I forgot about the painting until I was visiting Verona, Italy several years ago. It wasn't until a traveling companion pointed out that the balcony was a popular tourist attraction that I decided to view it in person. A narrow passageway opened to a courtyard and there it was - exactly like my painting. I now have photographs of what began as an image painted by the artist. It wasn't until several hours later that I even had the recollection of the watercolor. Was it merely a coincidence or had the fact that I carried that image all those years brought it to manifestation? What experiences have you had that caused you to stop and think about a connection beyond coincidence?
