Opportunity knocks

We never know when a seemingly minor event can lead to a great opportunity. I was introduced to a woman in her 80s who was blind from an eye condition that began in her early adult years. It was not by coincidence that working with the blind was my calling for over 30 years. Through my prior experience I was able to see beyond her disability to observe how vital she is and what a contributor she is to the world around her. I had been setting the intention to be of service and was asked by my new friend to participate in a project she is developing. This is a project that could make a difference in the environment on both a national and international level. It would also require me to stretch my skills. The timing is perfect and I know intuitively that I need to say yes to this request. As I listen to my friend share her vision for her project, I hear how the Universe is connecting the dots for her. On a daily basis resources in the form of influential people and financial support are coming into her life. When we follow an intention that we believe best serves ourselves and others, we will be aware of the opportunities that accompany that intention. Being open to these situations in our lives is what brings about enthusiasm and joy to us. What opportunities are showing up in your life today and what are you doing to say yes to them?
