Why am I here?
Our journey through life does not have to be one of pain and suffering. If we believe we are victims of circumstance, then we will attract situations that support that notion. I have read in so many places that we are on this planet to be happy, joyous, and free. Each of these states comes from a conscious choice that we make independent of what is happening around us. Viktor Frankl, a survivor of the Holocaust, attributes his surviving this terrible ordeal by exercising his freedom to choose his attitude in spite of everything that was going on around him. We have the freedom to control our thoughts which take form as we present them to the Universe. One thing that we know for certain is that whatever we are experiencing in the moment will eventually change one way or another. Do I desire for it to change for the better or for the worse? We can learn to develop our optimism in life just as Viktor Frankl did leading to positive changes. Our ultimate goal for being here is to experience and give in return the unconditional love that is our birthright. What do you see as your purpose for being here and how are you living your life accordingly?
